After fixing our tent and resting for a bit, we started hiking from Gavarnie into the next section. We left the Grand Vignemale behind on a wonderful morning and set our sights on adventurous days in the highest part of the Pyrenees. Unfortunately, our plans changed when my knee injury suddenly got worse. I hitchhiked to Benasque to recover while Jacob completed the section by foot.
